London Irish is proud to confirm that Will Goodrick-Clarke has been included in the England squad to face Barbarians.

Goodrick-Clarke could sport the Rose for the first time and take to the Twickenham Stadium pitch at 3pm this Sunday (19th June) in the uncapped meeting against Fabien Galthié’s select squad.

The 26-year-old prop forward recently put pen-to-paper on a new deal at Hazelwood and made the joint-most appearances for the Club throughout the 2021/22 season (29).

Charles Ollivon of RC Toulonnais will lead out the Barbarians team scattered in talent from the Top 14, with ex-Saracens second-row forward George Kruis.

The fixture is the first of England’s summer matches in preparation for a tour of Australia, which begins at the Optus Stadium, Perth on 2nd July, kicking off at 10.55am BST.

The series resumes the following week on 9th July in Brisbane at the Suncorp Stadium and concludes at Sydney Cricket Ground on the 16th July, both kicking-off at 10.55am BST.

Eddie Jones’ squad for their tour against the Wallabies will be confirmed next week.

Congratulations to Will!
