London Irish is delighted to announce Gaucho Restaurants as our official restaurant partner – and to kick-off the partnership, they’ve also agreed to be title sponsor of our ‘10 Days of St. Patrick’s Day Festival’.
Gaucho’s renowned collection of restaurants in the UK includes twelve in London and four regional sites in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh, serving some of the finest beef in the world, complemented by a broader food and wine offering in a contemporary setting, inspired by Modern Argentina and all of its global influences.
Gaucho will feature prominently across all of the club’s assets throughout the virtual festival, which kicks off on St Patrick’s Day itself (Wednesday 17th March) and will run for ten consecutive days, culminating in the Exiles’ home fixture against Bath Rugby on Saturday 27th March. On each of the ten days, the club will be running an activity, or sharing a special piece of St Patrick’s themed content, for the Exile Nation to engage with.
Gaucho’s sponsorship of the festival coincides with the recent news of Argentinean legend Agustin Creevy signing a contract extension with the Exiles.
To celebrate Creevy extending his stay with the club, Gaucho will be launching a finish at home ‘Paddy’s Day Pie Box’, which is available to order throughout the festival. The exclusive box will launch on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) and will be available to order until March 27th where you can choose between a Beef & Guinness or Beef & Malbec Pie, which comes as part of a sumptuous three course menu and is accompanied by two pints of Guinness – for just £65 (for two). Gaucho boxes are available now to pre-order for delivery throughout the UK (excluding Ireland and The Highlands).
As well as the Paddy’s Day Box, Gaucho have put together a ‘Match Day Box’ on the day Irish host Bath at the Brentford Community Stadium on March 27th. In your Match Day Box, you can expect to find the ultimate finish at home burger box, featuring the finest classic cheeseburger with 100% Argentine Beef, all the best burger fillings, Waffle Fries and Dirty Slaw – for just £20 (for two). Place your order by 5pm on March 25th for guaranteed delivery on match day, anywhere in the UK (excluding Ireland and The Highlands).
London Irish supporters can also take advantage of an exclusive discount with Gaucho’s as part of the partnership. Book a table for outside dining at selected London Gaucho restaurants from April 12th and in-restaurant dining at all Gaucho Restaurants from May 17th, where you can use your exclusive 25% off food only when quoting ‘London Irish’ when booking*.
