Several London Irish youngsters have put pen to paper to extend their Academy contracts with the club.
Sam Collingridge (second row), Ben Atkins (hooker), Izaiha Moore-Aiono (back row) and Caolan Englefield (scrum-half) have all ensured that they will continue their development with London Irish, with Ben Donnell (back row) already in an existing contract.
Izaiha and Ben Atkins were both involved in the England U20s team that defeated the Junior Springboks in Coventry last Friday, with the former crossing for a try.
Ben Donnell has been involved in the England U20s wider training squad, and Caolan has been part of the training squad for Ireland U20s. Sam Collingridge has been unfortunate with injury, but has done well to get back training as quick as he has.
“It’s great news for all parties that these players have extended their deals with London Irish” said Patrick O’Grady, Academy manager.
“All four of the lads that have re-signed, along with Ben Donnell, have a brilliant work-ethic and desire to improve, which is very encouraging for the future.”
