Danilo Fischetti and Luca Morisi are set to start for Italy as Kieran Crowley’s men travel to Twickenham Stadium for a second round Guinness Six Nations match-up with England.
It will be consecutive starts in the Championship for the Exiles pairing, taking on an England side reeling from a Calcutta Cup loss to Scotland in the national stadium last weekend.
The Azzurri also suffered a defat on home soil to reigning champions France to open the tournament, a converted fourth quarter Matthieu Jalibert try the difference in the 29-24 final score.
Fischetti made 46 metres in seven carries, nine tackles and six broken tackles (joint-highest in the game), whilst Morisi also performed commendably in the loss with 73 running metres and the highest tackle count amongst Italian backs (12).
The match is set to take place this Sunday (12th), kicking-off at 3pm and will be televised live on ITV.
Best of luck, lads!
