Danilo Fischetti will make a third successive start for Italy in the 2023 Guinness Six Nations Championship when Kieran Crowley’s side host Ireland this Saturday.
He is joined by fellow Exile Luca Morisi in the Azzuri’s makeup for the third round clash against table-topping Ireland, the centre named as a replacement for the clash at the Stadio Olimpico.
Crowley’s Italy are currently without victory in the Championship this term after losses to France and England, picking up a losing bonus point in an 24-29 defeat to Fabien Galthié’s side.
Last time out at Twickenham Stadium, Fischetti and Morisi managed a double-figure tackle count (10 each), with the centre registering 27 metres gained in possession.
The game against Ireland will be played this Saturday (25th) and will be televised on ITV Sport, kicking-off at 2.15pm.
