Henry Arundell, Will Joseph and Tom Pearson have all been named in Eddie Jones’ first England training camp of the season.

Running from the 2nd-4th October in the capital, the camp falls within London Irish’s scheduled bye fixture in the Gallagher Premiership next week.

The camp is the first in preparation for England’s schedule of autumn internationals in November, which sees Jones’ side take on Argentina (6th), Japan (12th), New Zealand (19th) and reigning world champions South Africa (26th) in successive weekends at Twickenham Stadium.

Arundell and Joseph achieved their first caps in the Rose over the summer period after their breakthrough campaigns as Exiles, touring with the England team to Australia and winning three and one caps, respectively.

Tom Pearson made a significant impression in his first 19 appearances for Irish in the 2021/22 season after signing to the Senior Academy last summer, and is now continuing his representation in international training squads after linking up with Jones last term.

All three Exiles were awarded their first senior professional contracts in the offseason after their significant contributions last term, which included qualification to the Heineken Champions Cup for the first time in 11 seasons.

Arundell has scored three tries in as many Premiership appearances this term, Joseph touching down twice with Pearson ranking in the top three Irish tacklers in each of their first three league games.

Well deserved, guys!
