London Irish Director of Rugby Brian Smith has made three changes to his side that played Gloucester last weekend for Saturday’s European Challenge Cup fixture with Cardiff Blues at the BT Sport Arms Park (Kick-off 3.15pm).

Andrew Fenby starts at full-back after not being involved last weekend and Topsy Ojo moves up from the bench to join Alex Lewington on the wing.

Eoin Griffin comes into the centre to partner Shane Geraghty and Chris Noakes and Scott Steele form the halfbacks.

The pack is unchanged with Tom Court, David Paice and Geoff Cross packing down in the front row, with Sean Cox and Kieran Low in the second row. Jebb Sinclair and Blair Cowan feature on the flanks with Ofisa Treviranus at Number 8.

On the bench Johnny Harris makes his long awaited return form injury after several months on the side-lines, as does Eamonn Sheridan. Also on the bench are Richard Palframan, Leo Halavatau, Dan Leo, Luke Narraway, Darren Allinson and Tom Homer who also continues his return from injury.

London Irish Director of Rugby Brian Smith said: “We have made a couple of changes to the back line for this weekend’s match to freshen things up. We have had a good weeks preparation ahead of what we know will be two tough battles over the new two weeks.
