Declan Kidney has confirmed the matchday squad that is set to travel to the AJ Bell Stadium to take on Sale Sharks in Round 14 of the Gallagher Premiership on Sunday (kick-off 3pm).

Will Goodrick-Clarke, Agustin Creevy and Lovejoy Chawatama make up the front row, with Steve Mafi and Rob Simmons combining in the second row.

Matt Rogerson captains the side from blindside flanker and Ben Donnell starts at openside flanker. Albert Tuisue completes the pack from number 8.

Ben Meehan and Paddy Jackson are the halfback duo, with Theo Brophy Clews forming the centre partnership with Curtis Rona.

Ollie Hassell-Collins and Ben Loader continue on the wings and James Stokes is set to wear the 15 jersey.

“Every away match in the Premiership is a tough challenge, and this weekend’s trip to Sale is certainly no different” explained Declan Kidney, Director of Rugby.

“The last time we visited the AJ Bell, Sale got the better of us and we know we need to perform to a good level to compete with them.

“The players want to improve on the performance that we put on last weekend, and we look forward to Sunday’s test.”
