European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) have confirmed the dates and kick-off times for London Irish’s matches in Rounds 1 to 4 of the 2022/23 Heineken Champions Cup.
London Irish will begin their first Heineken Champions Cup campaign since 2012 at the Gtech Community Stadium under the Friday night lights on 9 December (kick-off 20:00), when they will face reigning Top 14 champions, Montpellier Herault.
Eight days later, the Exiles will travel to the southern hemisphere for a landmark occasion as they come up against South Africa based outfit DHL Stormers at the DHL Newlands Stadium in Cape Town on Saturday 17 December (kick-off 19:30).
Round 3 of the competition sees DHL Stormers make the return journey to west London on Sunday 15 January, when Irish will welcome the inaugural United Rugby Championship winners to the Gtech Community Stadium (kick-off 13:00).
A final pool stage fixture and a trip to the European continent awaits the Exiles in Round 4, as Declan Kidney’s men head to the south of France to do battle with Montpellier Herault at the GGL Stadium on Sunday 22 January (kick-off 14:00).
All London Irish Heineken Champions Cup fixtures will be broadcast live on BT Sport in the UK.
Ticket information for the two pool stage home fixtures will be released in due course.
