The London Irish Academy are meeting high standards with another block of call-ups!

Eight members of the London Irish Academy have been selected in the U17’s North v South fixture to determine the best English rugby talents. From this fixture, the England U18 squad will be sculpted and the boys will go on a tour to South Africa.

Finlay Brown, George Davis, Tarek Haffar, Alex Harmes, Will Joseph, Joe Keohane and Takiko Taukei were all selected to take part in this event, the first of its kind.

Unfortunately, Takiko Taukei has been ruled out through injury but, another London Irish Academy player has been called-up, in the shape of Michael Dykes.

“The academy staff are very proud of all the lads selected” said Patrick O’Grady, academy manager

“The boys are set to test themselves against the best in their age group, with a tour to South Africa with England U18’s in the offering!”

The match will take place on Sunday 3 March (kick-off 11am) at the Gibraltar Barracks in Camberley.

Congratulations to all the boys selected, the future is very bright!
