Ben Donnell has become the latest London Irish youngster to put pen to paper on a new contract with the Club.

Donnell, aged 20, has agreed a new deal that will see him graduate from the Academy into the first team set-up.

The athletic back-row has made 34 appearances to date for the Exiles, with 16 of those arriving in the 2020/21 campaign.

Speaking on signing his new deal, Donnell said: “I’m really pleased to have agreed this new deal with the Club.

“I’m really enjoying my rugby here and feel this is the perfect place for me to continue to grow as a player.”

Declan Kidney, Irish’s Director of Rugby, added: “Ben has enjoyed a couple of really positive seasons with us, so we’re naturally delighted that he’s agreed a new deal with the Club.

“He is developing into a fine player and we’re excited about seeing that progression continue over the course of the coming season.”
