The London Irish St Patrick’s Party fixture has become a standout moment in the rugby calendar and a favourite amongst supporters since the first was played at the Madejski Stadium on 17 March 2001, when Irish prevailed 13-10 against Northampton Saints.

It has since gone on to establish itself as a standalone fixture in the rugby diary and is attended by supporters from all over Britain and Ireland. This season will see the last ever St Patrick’s Party in its original format at the Madejski Stadium, when Northampton Saints return as the opponents on 28 March 2020.

For several years, the squad have worn a special St Patrick’s Party shirt for the fixture displaying a number of unique designs, with replica jersey’s becoming a collectible item amongst supporters. To mark the final game of its kind in the Thames Valley, London Irish are giving supporters the opportunity to design this season’s St Patrick’s Party shirt.

The only stipulation is that the shirt must be predominantly green, but aside from that supporters have complete free rein with the design of the shirt. The shorts and socks will be the same as the usual home kit.
