Connacht pre-season friendly confirmed

London Irish will travel to Connacht Rugby for a pre-season friendly ahead of the start of the 2021/22 campaign.

The Exiles’ preparations for the upcoming season will include a fixture against the United Rugby Championship (URC) side on Friday 10th September 2021.

The friendly at The Sportsground will kick-off at 5.30pm.

Director of Rugby, Declan Kidney, said: “We’re really looking forward to heading over to Galway for what will be a really strong pre-season test for the squad.

“Everything is gearing towards to our first Gallagher Premiership fixture of the season against Worcester Warriors - and this will be a key fixture in our build-up.”

Connacht Rugby will announce ticketing details for this fixture next week, following the publication of their latest Government roadmap on COVID-19 restrictions.
