20 October 2016

There a still a number of places left on London Irish’s successful half-term rugby camps taking place across the region.

Host venues Windsor, Basingstoke and Hazelwood, the home of London Irish, return following the huge success of the club’s summer camps, while Henley RFC, Alton, Farnborough and Havant have been added to the list.

Delivered by qualified Level 2 coaches, the camps which are designed for children from under-6’s to under-14s, provide youngsters with the perfect mix of technical coaching and games delivered in a fun, safe and professional environment.

More than 600 children took part in this year’s London Irish summer rugby camps across a total of 19 camps, surpassing the previous season by more than 100 attendees.

Andy Keast, Community Manager, said: “The half-term rugby camps promise to be a really enjoyable experience and we look forward to welcoming youngsters from across the region. Our community team have worked tirlessly this year and deserve huge praise for the work that they have done with local clubs and schools in the area."

From as little as £60, attendees can enjoy top quality coaching over the course of two or three days and those who take part will receive a player feedback form at the end of the camp in order to continue to develop their rugby skills. Additionally, all attendees can also enjoy one junior match ticket with an accompanying adult to one of our home games at the Madejski Stadium.
