PHD, the leading supplier of modular access systems, has joined the portfolio of companies partnering with London Irish until 2018 ahead of this Saturday’s top of the table clash with Yorkshire Carnegie at the Madejski Stadium (kick-off 3pm).

The West London based company, which was formed 30 years ago, specialises in simplifying complex access requirements using bespoke solutions including scaffolding, mechanical and rope access, steel work, space decks and hover pad technology.

Among the prestigious projects the company has worked on both in this country and overseas are: Crossrail, the King’s Cross Station re-development, the London Olympic Stadium and major hotel complexes in The Bahamas and the Middle East including The Atlantis.

Announcing PHD’s partnership with the Club, Bernard Dwyer, the company’s owner said: “London Irish’s commitment to hard work in its approach to how it plays the game resonate with the values and aspirations we have at PHD. We are an expanding business and our partnership will help both parties to reach new contacts and consolidate existing relationships in the industries we work in.”

Bob Casey, Chief Executive of London Irish, said: “We’re delighted to welcome PHD, an expanding and successful business, to our portfolio of partners and we look forward to welcoming them to this weekend’s game.

“The company is based in West London where this club’s roots lie and where we’re growing the reach of our community rugby activity. We’re looking forward to working with Bernard Dwyer and his colleagues as we develop our partnership to mutual benefit over the season.”
