Chunya Munga signs new London Irish contract

London Irish Academy prospect Chunya Munga has put pen to paper on a new contract with the Club.

The second row has made 18 appearances in the Exiles jersey, with the 2020/21 campaign somewhat of a breakthrough season for Munga.

Munga capped off a great season with inclusion in the England training squad that linked up to prepare for the summer international fixtures.

“I’m so excited to sign a new deal with London Irish. I’ve really enjoyed my time here and can’t wait to kick on in the coming seasons” said Munga.

“My game has been developing thanks to the coaches and other players at the Club, and I can’t wait to continue learning from them all going forward.”

“Chunya is a player with lots of potential” explained Declan Kidney, Director of Rugby.

“He gets better each game and is always eager to improve. We are happy that he will be continuing with the Club and look forward to seeing his next steps in the London Irish jersey.”
