Rory Brand has penned an extension with London Irish, as he prepares for a fifth season with the Club.

Brand, who joined the Senior Academy set-up ahead of the 2016/17 campaign, was part of the Exiles side that was crowned Premiership Rugby U18 Champions in 2016.

He has enjoyed England international age-grade call-ups and his progression was subsequently aided further by virtue of loan appearances with London Scottish in the Championship.

He has made 11 appearances in total for the Exiles.

“I’m really pleased to be extending my time at London Irish” said Brand.

“I feel I’m continually evolving as a player, working with a blend of incredibly experienced players and emerging young players.

“It’s an exciting time to be at this Club - we feel we’re heading in the right direction and I’m happy to be playing my part in that.”

Director of Rugby, Declan Kidney, added: “Rory has had to bide his time for opportunities at senior level, but he’s constantly improving day in, day out at the training ground which tells you all you need to know about his character and his desire to keep progressing as a player.”
