London Irish host Wasps this Sunday in Round 12 of the Gallagher Premiership, with both sides coming into the match on the back of Round 11 victories.

Adam Coleman will make his eighth Premiership appearance this weekend and is looking forward to the challenge of taking on a Wasps team fresh off a 60-10 victory against Saracens last week.

“Wasps are a team that like to throw the ball around and are a very expansive side that are good at the breakdown” Said Coleman.

“We are going to have to be on point with our defence and especially our breakdown. They go hard at the ball so we will focus hard on our breakdown and work to give our backs some quality ball.”

Training this week has gone well as Coleman begins to get used to the wet and windy nature of an English winter.

“The squad is really starting to gain momentum, and I think when you do that, you have to humble yourselves and with that we have had a hard couple of days of training.

“The proof is in the pudding that the hard work does pay off and we are not going away from that, so we have worked hard to make sure we hit our markers on Sunday.

“It has been challenging with the weather, but it has also been challenging in terms of the sessions, but I’m really enjoying it.”
