Jonathan Fisher

Jonathan Fisher re-joined London Irish on a two year deal after spending the last year playing for the Bedford Blues.

The 24 year-old made 19 appearances for the Exiles during his first spell with the Club, proving his versatility by playing in numerous positions.

He made his London Irish debut as a substitute against the Ospreys on November 4th 2007 in the Anglo Welsh Cup. The following season saw Jonathan make 10 appearances in the Premiership and European Challenge Cup competitions.

Prior to joining the London Irish Academy in 2005, the England Saxon played for Wellington College where his exceptional talent began to develop.

Jonathan represented England in the Under 19 World Championships in 2007 and then went on to secure a starting spot at blindside flanker for the England Under 20 side in all five games of the 2008 Six Nations Grand Slam campaign.

The athletic forward also played for England 7s at the 2008 Hong Kong Sevens and for England Saxons.

He was performing outstandingly well for the club until he picked up a forearm injury playing against Bath at Madejski Stadium in September 2012. He returned from injury in the return fixture against Bath in February and has made six appearances for the club this season.
