London Irish centre, Tom Fowlie, has committed his future to London Irish, signing a two year contract extension.

Fowlie graduated out of the Club’s Academy and has quickly climbed the ranks, earning his place in the senior squad.

Having represented England at U18s and U20s, and with a 2015 U20’s 6 Nations title under his belt, the outside back is one of London Irish’s brightest young talents. He made 13 senior appearances last season, scoring two tries, and featured in both legs of the pre-season’s Cunningham Duncombe Series against Harlequins.

London Irish Head of Rugby Operations, Glenn Delaney, said: “Tom has already proven his capability to play in the Aviva Premiership. He is a product of our AASE and Academy systems which is huge testament to the work of our Academy. We are absolutely delighted he has committed his future to London Irish.”

Tom Fowlie said: “I am really excited to have signed an extension at London Irish. One of the biggest things for me is the ambition of the Club, there has been a lot of investment in the squad and the coaching set up recently. I came through the Academy and it is great to be staying here. I am really excited by the direction in which the Club is moving and I am looking forward to being a part of it.”
