The top five from the first five

After the first five rounds of Aviva Premiership rugby we want to find out who has been your best player. Brian Smith has narrowed the choice down to five names giving his own reason behind each.

Here is the short list:

Eamonn Sheridan - Eamonn has been one of the best new faces in the Premiership. He has stepped up from the Championship to start in all five games for the Club so far this season and has proved a handful in every one.

Ofisa Treviranus - Ofisa continues to be one of our most reliable players. The back rower is consistent in both attack and defensive and has started the season strongly.

David Paice – David deserves a place in the England squad with a great start to the season so far. The hooker has been a massive part of the London Irish forward pack.

Tomás O'Leary – Tomás captained the side for four out of the first five games. He has led the team strongly and been crucial in our attacking play.

Marland Yarde – Marland has been one of the most dominating wingers in the Premiership so far scoring four tries in five games and deserves his place in the England squad for the Autumn Internationals.

Now it is up to you. Who will win? You decide. Click here to vote for your favourite player of the season so far.
