My name is Chris Munce I am 15 years old and live in Carrickfergus a town about 10 miles outside Belfast. I am a keen rugby player and play for both Carrickfergus Rugby Club and the Ulster Development Squad. Along with my dad I am a London Irish fan and have been a season ticket holder for the past two and a half years. I try to get to as many games as possible in the season, last year I managed 12 and so far 3 this season. This is how my weekend starts to see the boys.
Saturday 2nd November
4.30am: Alarm goes off, time for a shower and time to hit the road. My mum doesn't really enjoy this bit but hey that's what mums do!!
5.35am: Arrive at George Best Airport in Belfast for the 06.35am flight to London Heathrow.
08.10am: Touch down at London Heathrow and head out to the arrivals where my dad will be waiting for me. He is always the one with the LIRFC shirt on. I think he sleeps in it.
09.00am: Head down the M4 to Reading where my dad lives and get a wee snooze in on the way. I know he is talking tactics all the way down but I need a bit of shut eye.
10.00am: At home at my dads but Saints match is not until tomorrow so might as well go into town and let him part with some money
5.00pm: Did well today, new iPad and phone, watching the England match.
11.00pm: Catch up on other games and off to bed.
Sunday 3rd November
10.00am Well you don't expect a teenager to be up before this on a Sunday. MATCH DAY.
12.00pm: Showered, changed, fed, LI shirt on ready to head of to the Madstad. Especially looking forward to seeing James O'Connor starting today, lots of talk during the week. Might even get to meet him.
1.00pm: Get to the Madstad and Chat with Andy Fenby who my dad and I sponsor.
1.30pm: Get to our seats and see Colin who I sit beside and have a bit of Banter.
2.00pm: Kick off.
3.30pm: Full time. Disappointed. We could have beat Saints but boys still played well.
4.00pm: Head up into the Princess suite where we meet the lovely Chloe Bray who has surprised me by organising a photo with James O'Connor. WOW. This has just made the weekend for me and she also got me a shirt signed. Had a quick chat with my favourite player Humps and my dad is already waving his arms in the air as I need to get to the airport.
5.15pm: Leave the Madstad and straight on the M4. Dad still talking about the game and re running it all over again. Time for another wee snooze.
6.10pm: Arrive at terminal 1 Heathrow and run straight into security and to the gate.
6.45pm: On the plane and sitting comfortably. Quick SMS to Dad to let him know.
8.05pm: Arrive back in Belfast after another great weekend.
9.00pm: Back home quick bite and some homework school tomorrow baaahhhhh.
Three weeks to my next match and then Paris in December. COYI.
I bleed Green.
