Irish players visit The London Irish Centre for a Christmas gathering

Date: Fri 07 Dec 2012

London Irish player’s James Sandford and Foster Horan joined The London Irish Centre at their Christmas festivities in London on Thursday to announce the launch of our partnership.

James and Foster turned on the lights on what can only be described as a very ‘Irish’ Christmas tree outside the centre and joined other local Irish people in craic, agus ceoil (laughter and music- for those slightly less Irish) was to be enjoyed.

The players educated London Irish staff members on the joys of Club Orange and Tayto Crisps and enjoyed mince pies with the regular members of the centre.

The centre bought a great sense of community for many isolated or lonely Irish people living in London and the two Irish bred players enjoyed every second of finding a new ‘home from home’.

The London Irish Centre is based in Camden and welcomes everyone and anyone. To find out more go to their website www.londonirishcentre.org or follow them on Twitter @LDNIrishCentre

London Irish would like to wish everyone at the centre a Merry Christmas and New Year.
