London Irish Academy stars have been named in both the England U17 and U18 squads for this month's training camp in Leeds.

London Irish AASE star centre, Tom Fowlie, has been named in the U18 squad after enjoing a very strong start to the season. He has been an ever present in the London Irish AASE team, scoring a handful of tries already this season and has made three appearance for London Irish in the Aviva A League.

Ollie Adams, Theo Brophy-Clews, Brett Herron and Harry Lightfoot-Brown have all been included in the Under 17 squad.

England Under 18 and Under 17 coaches John Fletcher, Pete Walton and Ian Peel have named their wider squads for the 2012-13 season.

The group will meet for a training camp in late October in Leeds and Head Coach Fletcher is looking forward to getting them all together.

He said: “It’s important for us to spend some time with the players and monitor their progress from the summer. This is a strong group and we are looking forward to the season ahead. We feel that they have the potential to go on and perform well in the matches and the Under 18 FIRA/AER European Championship. It’s important to remember we’ll get another opportunity to take a look at these guys, and more, in a competitive environment in the Under 18 Academy competitions which take place just before and just after Christmas.”
