London Irish player’s on International Duty

The Internationals last weekend set an impressive standard for the Test matches to come. Blair Cowan and Kieran Low made appearances for Scotland against USA Eagles in Houston and were victorious in the heat of Texas.

Blair played 80 minutes, and Kieran came on with 20 minutes to go. A winning margin of 6-24 will leave the boys relishing the challenges ahead. They'll take the field against the might of Argentina and South Africa, no less, this month.

But first up, both lads will come head to head with teammate Jebb Sinclair this weekend as Scotland take on Canada.

The North Americans came out of last weekend a bit dismayed losing to a Japan side impressing again as they look to build before they host the World Cup in 2019.

Scotland's clinical nature punished the USA so don't expect them to take prisoners against a Canadian side that let a 25-9 half time lead slip to lose 25-34.

You can't imagine the two Scots will want to return to London Irish and face a victorious Jebb Sinclair during pre-season.

Ofisa Treviranus came off the bench in Apia as the Samoans and Tongans battled it out in a hugely physical contest.

Underdogs Tonga snatched an 18-18 draw in injury time against Samoa to launch the Pacific Nations Cup tournament in dramatic fashion last Saturday.

Ofisa will return to action on 21st June when Samoa take on Fiji.
