Junction 15 (Swindon), A419/417 to Gloucester. At Zoons Court roundabout follow the signs A40 to Ross and go along Northern Bypass. At Longford roundabout (where A40 crosses A38) turn left towards City Centre. This route takes approx 90 minutes from start of M4 now that the A419/417 has been upgraded to motorway standard. Alternative route: take M40 out of London and A40 from east of Oxford to Longford road roundabout on Gloucester Northern Bypass.
M5 southbound to junction 11 (Cheltenham south and Gloucester north). Follow A40 to Gloucester/Ross and Northern Bypass. At Longford roundabout (where A40 crosses A38). turn left towards towards City Centre.
M5 northbound to junction 11A (Gloucester). At Zoons Court roundabout follow the signs A40 to Ross and go along Northern Bypass. From Longford roundabout (as above).
Use A48 or A40. On approaching Gloucester use the A40 Gloucester Northern Bypass. From Longford roundabout (as above). Directions from Longford Roundabout to ground or parking areas. Go towards City Centre. After about half a mile you come to the Tewkesbury Road roundabout where, for the ground, you go straight over (ground is quarter of a mile on the right where there are very limited car parking spaces). For nearby free parking, turn right at Tewkesbury Road roundabout and follow signs for the Cattle Market Park and Ride Car Park. The ground is five minutes walk or the Park and Ride bus passes the ground.
Gloucester Rugby Club operates one secure car parking facility at a nearby school.Kings School is between the rugby club and the City Centre. Turn right at the Tewkesbury Road Roundabout (see map above) and proceed straight over the next roundabout, past Tesco's and under the footbridge. Take the next turning left, passed the VW garage and take the second turning right (signposted), immediately after the public crossing into King's School. Also, opposite Kingsholm Primary School (which is directly opposite the main club car park and is accessed by taking the turning off Kingsholm Road next to the Post Office) is the YMCA car park which is also available to supporters on match days and is only a five minute walk from the ground. All official facilities are manned during match hours and cost only £3. Cars are left at owners own risk.
Gloucester is served by Great Western Trains (from London), Virgin Trains (from Scotland, North East, North West, Birmingham, Bristol and South West), Wales and West Trains (from Swindon, Bristol, Cardiff, South Wales, Worcester and Birmingham), Central Trains (from East Midlands and West Midlands). There are direct services to Gloucester from all regions.
