London Irish owners and sponsors offer Christmas Gift to Charities

London Irish owners Mick Crossan and Phil Cusack have provided all of the Club’s commercial partners and sponsors 30 tickets, to offer to a charity of their choice, for the Boxing Day Aviva Premiership fixture against London Welsh at Madejski Stadium.

Sponsors and partners of the Club have used this opportunity to provide their local charity, who would otherwise not be able to attend a Premiership Rugby match, with the tickets.

The sponsors have donated their tickets to the following charities:

Powerday – Royal Berkshire Hospital Children’s Ward

Pump Technology - Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice - Developing Berkshire's very own local children's hospice service to support children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions

House of Fraser – Sparks, The children’s medical research charity

Upham – Naomi House and Jacksplace, offer support throughout the child's care pathway

O’Neills – Kids Company - Provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children

Pitman – Wessex Cancer Trust

Gap - Duchess of Kent House Charity 

Prime Health – Eikon, Surrey based charity that provides long-term support to some of the country’s most vulnerable young people.

London Irish players and Digger the Club mascot were on hand to personally deliver the tickets to the charities and had photos taken with those attending.

London Irish President, Mick Crossan said: “Phil and I were more than happy to work with our sponsors on this initiative and we hope all of those attending the game on Boxing Day enjoy the experience put on by the London Irish family.”
