London Irish loan Alex Toolis from Edinburgh Rugby

Alex Toolis has re-joined London Irish on a short term loan deal from Edinburgh Rugby.

The Australian born lock forward had a short spell with the Exiles last season playing in the LV=Cup tie against Northampton Saints at Madejski Staadium. He joins as injury cover for Nic Rouse who is out with a shoulder injury and Sean Cox who has a hamstring injury.

London Irish Director of Rugby, Brian Smith said: "We have had a few injuries in the second row so Alex has come in to add a bit more depth to that position. He did a good job for us last season when he played in the LV=Cup and I have no doubt he will do well again when he gets his chance."
