FAQ 2008/09

I have had a Season Ticket before. Can I avail of the renewal price and when is this special offer available?
Only 2007/08 Season Ticket Holders will be able to purchase a 2008/09 Season Ticket at the special 'Premier Fans' renewal price until 31st May 2008. Your seat will be guaranteed for your purchase only until 14th May, i.e. from 17th March - 14th May, seats available for renewal during this period will not be offered on general sale. There will be a period between 14th May and 19th May when the Sales Centre will not process any Season Ticket sales - this is to allow any remaining postal renewals to be processed. After 19th May, any seats that have not been renewed will go on general release, however current Season Ticket Holders will be able to purchase them at the renewal rate until 31st May. Season Tickets purchased after 31st May will be charged at the Early Bird rate until 31st July, and then the full price thereafter.

If I want to change my existing Season Ticket seat, how and when can I do this?
Current Season Ticket Holders can change to any unreserved seat (i.e. a seat not currently occupied by a 2007/08 Season Ticket Holder) at any time. However, to avail of the renewal price, the season ticket must be booked by 31st May. On 19th May, all un-renewed seats will go on general sale.

Season Ticket Holders can change their seat for an individual match free of charge provided that additional tickets are purchased when the seat change is arranged with the Ticket Office.

Will I get a Season Ticket Smart Card?
Renewing Season Tcket Holders will not receive a new smart card for renewing the same seat. Your Season Ticket Smart card is your card for life. Do not throw your existing smart card away. If you are changing your Season Ticket seat, you will require a new card, costing £10 for administration. Lost or stolen cards must be reported immediately to the Ticket Office and will be charged £10 for replacement.

What games are included in your season ticket?
All regular season pool home matches within the Guinness Premiership, European Cup and EDF Energy Cup. Play-off matches are not included but priority booking will be given to Season Ticket Holders.

Is it possible to pay for my season ticket in instalments?
You are now able to pay for your Season Tickets in instalments through Zebra Finance Ltd. Application forms are available from the Ticket Office. This finance agreement is between Zebra Finance Ltd and the applicant - London Irish and Madejski Stadium play no part in this process.

Have the ticket prices increased for 2008/09 season?
Season tickets: For the 2008/09 season, the pricing structure has changed slightly. We are delighted to announce that Season Tickets in the South Stand and the West Upper are frozen at the 2007/08 prices. The South Stand is our cheapest ticket and we still wish to offer our supporters a lower cost option on tickets, making the London Irish matchday an experience that is both fun and affordable. The price of the East and West Lower stands will increase slightly to reflect the premium view from these stands. Overall, the London Irish Season Ticket is still fantastic value when compared to other Premiership clubs.
Match tickets: Will replicate Season Ticket price changes (i.e. South and West Upper prices will be frozen at 2007/08 prices and West Lower and East stand prices will increase). However we are further rewarding and encouraging advanced purchase, through an increased discounted ticket as there are operational, logistical and cost savings.

What is the cheapest way to purchase a match day ticket?
By far the cheapest way is to buy a season ticket but this does not necessarily suit everyone. Buying your ticket in advance is the next cheapest way to purchase - advanced purchases can be made up until 9am on match day.

Why is there a price difference between the stands?
Every seat within Madejski Stadium boasts an excellent view of the pitch, however there are some seats that are perceived to have a superior viewing position, better services and accessibility warranting a tiered pricing structure between stands.

I want to bring the whole family to watch London Irish, what is the best ticket to buy?
London Irish offer a Family Sseason Ticket in the South Stand. This season ticket is available for either 1 adult and 2 children or, 2 adults and 2 children. With a wide range of matchday entertainment including live music and kids activities, London Irish is a great family day out and now it is even better value! You can save up to £380 by purchasing a Family Season Ticket. Family tickets are also available on an individual match basis.

Why is there a tiered concession pricing scheme?
Concession pricing for students, juniors and senior citizens has been made available to ensure increased accessibility for these groups to experience the London Irish match day and the legendary craic.
