Bob CaseyBob joined London Irish from Leinster in July 2002, having previously played for Blackrock and North Kildare. Over the past three seasons he has made seventy first team appearances for Irish in a demanding position, a reflection of his fitness and professionalism. He was the club's Players' Player of the Season in 2003-04 and was the London Irish Supporters Club Player of the Season 2004-05. For the past three seasons, playing alongside Nick Kennedy in the second row, the pair have been the most effective lineout partnership in the Premiership, stealing more opposition ball than any other second row pairing. His performances earned him a recall to the Ireland A squad. Bob is a Director of the United Kingdom board of the Christina Noble Children's Foundation - one of London Irish's Official Charities this season. Bob has achieved over 100 appearances for London Irish and last season took his try count to 5! |
