<1>London Irish will host an international match at Sunbury on Thames on Wednesday (16th November) when an Under 19 team drawn from the London Regional Academies will take on the France Under 19 team at the Exiles' headquarters, kick-off 2.30pm.
Four London Irish Academy players have been selected for the London team: Alex Corbisiero; Charlie Gower; Matt Humphries and Tom Standfield. All four have played in the club's Guinness A League fixtures this season.
On a seperate note, Matthew Banahan (pictured) has recently been invited to join the England Junior National Academy for training in December.
Commenting on the match London Irish Academy Manager Corin Palmer said; "We are pleased to have been invited to host this special match and to have five of our players in the London team. These young men are the possible international players of the future so the more exposure they get to matches like this the better".
