The Craic

What is the Craic all about?Supporters in the Craic

The Craic is the most hip and happening place on a London Irish matchday! It is the ideal place to meet friends, make new friends and have a drink while enjoying live music.

The word 'craic' comes from the Irish word for fun or enjoyment - there is no real English equivalent of the word, but that doesn't stop everyone from joining in. The Craic is all about joining in the fun and having a good time - something London Irish is renowned for.

Supporters in the CraicThe Craic is located in the North Stand Concourse - keep an eye out for the flags outside the Stadium. It is completely free with your matchday ticket. Make sure you are a part of it!

The Craic opens approximately 90 minutes before kick-off and runs pre-match until 30 minutes before kick-off - this gives you plenty of time to take your seat for 80 minutes for fabulous rugby! The Craic normally re-opens after the match for 2 hours (times may vary depending on kick-off times and band availability).

Fun & Frolics

Mark IrelandIf you join the fun in the Craic pre-match, you will get the opportunity to meet some of the London Irish squad. A selection of the players are available to sign everything and anything - bring along your programme, shirt or Ezylet Trycards and see whose signature you can get.

Shane Geraghty being interviewed by Caimh in the Craic - Bath 23.09.07One of the squad will be interviewed on the Craic stage approximately an hour from kick-off. If you have a question that you really want Caimh (our MC) to ask, email your question to: matchday@london-irish.com

This season, we are also running the Foneshop.com Hi-Lo Competition in the Craic (at selected matches, the Challenge will be played at half-time on the pitch - keep an eye on the Craic preview before the match for details). The competitors will be randomly selected from the audience in the Craic. If you want to be in with a chance of participating, get to the Craic early.
