Below is all the information that you are likely to need on the day for getting to and from the Stadium.

TRAVELLING BY CAR

From the M4:

The Madejski Stadium can be approached from the A33 Reading Relief Road which links to the M4 Motorway.

Exit the M4 at Junction 11, heading for Reading on the A33. At the first roundabout, take the 2nd left onto the Reading Relief Road, passing the Stadium on your left. At the next roundabout (past McDonalds) take the first left onto Northern Way and follow signs to car parks.

CAR PARKING AT THE MADEKSKI STADIUM

Please note that Seasonal Car Park Permits for the Red and Orange (disabled) car parks will not be valid this coming Saturday for the Heineken Cup Quarter Final match against USAP (Perpignan). Cars with day passes only willbe admitted. If you are a Seasonal Permit holder and have not yet applied for a day pass for this match (at a cost of £5) then please phone the Commercial Office on 01932 783 034 by 5pm today (Tuesday); this is to ensure that you receive your pass in time.

There will be LIMITED car parking available at the Stadium on the day, at a cost of £7.

Alternative parking will be available at:

Worton Grange (formerly HP Car Park) - Park & Walk
Follow 'Alternative Parking Signs'
Ten minutes walk from the Stadium. From Junction 11, M4. proceed towards Reading along the A33 dual carriageway, turn right at the 2nd roundabout then right again - 1000 spaces, £7 tariff.

Greyhound Stadium - Park & Walk
Five minutes walk from Stadium. Directions: from Junction 11, M4, proceed towards Reading along the A33 dual carriageway, past Madejski Stadium and past B&Q retail park. Straight ahead at traffic lights on gyratory roundabout, past Green Park turning and take the next left. Normally full one hour before kick off. 500 spaces, £7 tariff.

Terra Nova - Park & Walk
Ten minutes walk from Stadium. Directions: from Junction 11, M4, proceed towards Reading along the A33 dual carriageway, turn right at the 2nd roundabout onto Imperial Way, then turn left at end of road (Holiday Inn on left) onto Basingstoke Road. Terra Nove is on Bennet Road (RG2 0QX), which is the second left. £10 tariff.


TRAVELLING BY RAIL:

Great Western Trains leave London Paddington at least 5 times per hour and take approximately 23 minutes. Check www.greatwesterntrains.co.uk
South West Trains from London Waterloo to Reading take approximately 90 minutes via Clapham Junction, Putney, Richmond, Twickenham, Egham, Bracknell and Wokingham amongst other mainline stations. Check www.southwesttrains.com

On match days, a Shuttle Bus Service will be running from Reading Station to the Stadium. This service costs £2.60 return per adult.


PARK & RIDE / SHUTTLE BUSES

A Park & Ride facility will be in operation from Reading Train Station.

The shuttle buses will run to and from the Madejski as follows:

8am - 1pm: 4 buses

1pm - 7.30pm: 10 buses


The return cost for the bus is:

Adults: £2.60

Children: £1.30

Family: £4 (2 adults & 2 children, 1 adult & 3 children)



COACH PARKING

All coaches will need a pass to park at the Stadium on Saturday. Please contact the Commercial Office on 01932 783 034 or email info@london-irish.com by Friday (4th) at 11am to organise this.

Once all coach spaces at the Stadium are allocated, all remaining coaches will be allowed to drop off their passengers and will then be directed to park at the nearby Motorway Services between Junctions 11 and 12 of the M4. This is to avoid coaches taking up spaces of those that have already paid.
