The 'Quins were formed in 1996 following the merger of Oxford Marathons and Oxford Old Boys rugby clubs. Our mission was to improve the standard of Oxford and Oxfordshire Rugby. We are well on course to achieving our ambition and are now the premier club in the City of Oxford.
With Oxford RFC have formed the Oxford Rugby Partnership and are developing a rugby centre of excellence at our joint facility in the village of North Hinksey in Oxford. The Oxford Rugby Partnership field 5 men's sides, a very active Ladies section and a thriving Minis & Junior section. We also have set up an Academy with the sponsorship of the Leadbitter Group aimed at the 16 to 19 year age group. Our objective is to provide the opportunity to play rugby to all irrespective of age, sex or ability.
The stage is now firmly set for the further development of rugby within Oxford.
