Main Purpose of the Role:

The London Irish Rugby Development Coordinator is responsible for the planning, development and analysis of all rugby development programmes.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule and evaluate community programmes including coaching clinics, rugby camps, festivals and after school clubs.

Administration of these activities including producing briefing documents, liaising with clubs/groups, itineraries, handling payment and recording data appropriately.

Stimulate effective marketing, communications schemes and prepare all other marketing collateral. Manage all Academy and Community related information on the website and social media and drive interaction for data collection.

Actively seek new opportunities to further community partnerships and programmes as well as maintaining current relationships.

Coordinate all matchday community related activation.

Communicate with the community coaching team and liaise with the Head of Community to highlight potential future streams of business/income to match short and long term objectives.

Assist and provide support with all other Academy and Community related events and activities.

Provide administrative support to Academy players and coaches

Updating of Academy database and player agreements

Good understanding of Rugby Union (Playing and/or Coaching)

The Rugby Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for the administration of the Academy and Community rugby activities. This will involve support and provision for all programmes and activities undertaken within the Rugby Development functions.
